Doc gave me sick days, and I wont get paid for them?

I am not positive on this but if you have a dr excuse to be off work, I think there are laws the employer has to go by. I do not think you can be penalized for having a dr excuse. Check the laws in your state. I'm not understanding why you wouldn't get paid for sick time that you have. If I were you I would definitely check with your hr dept if you have one or someone higher than your manager. Hope this helps.
