What would you call this relationship?

My... crush just got a girlfriend before summer began. Shes a middle schooler and we're highschoolers. He hadn't kissed a girl yet like all his other friends- they have all had girlfriends and kissed a girl. They'd always tease him and stuff. You could obviously tell he wasn't into her. He made a face every time she was near, and his mood would change. And he runs away. But she was totally stalker-into him. So he kissed her. Now its facebook official. What would you call this relationship? And do you think he just kissed her to get his friends off his back?
