Is there a device can hook up to computer keyboard space bar to do 'space bar' with your foot?

Whapping the keyboard space bar (no matter how gentle or ergonomic) is giving me severe MCP (meta-carpal-phalyngeal) pain in the thumb joint. If someone hasn't already invented it, I hope some one will soon!!
