You were absolutely right in what you did. If my parents didn't come to my graduation I would get really angry. Adults encourage you to stand up for what is right as long as you agree with them. That is how I see it. Tell your mom nobody cares what she shows up in she has to go. Also tell her that sitting there is worth the wait. I hope this helps.
