What is happening to my son?

I think he has been abducted by aliens, he has lost the ability to walk properly and stamps everywhere he goes, he can no longer speak without huffing, rolling his eyes or making comments under his breath. He seems to have something wrong with his hearing as he can no longer hear anything that is under 100 decibels. I am not sure if he plans to be some kind of biologist as he is grouwing some well strange looking and smelling stuff in his bedroom- usually on a piece of food. I still love him lots but how do I morph him back into the son he once was?
