Attention Getter for introducing a student to the cl?

Just wanted some feedback on attention getter I'mm thinking about using. I was going to start off by asking if anyone has seen the show Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Then say well if you like Will Smith from that show your are going to like this person. He is easy going and laid back, etc. Any feedback welcomed. Thanks
